The Thread Tried to Read From or Write to a Virtual Address Aoe2
[SOLVED] Frequent Crashes: The thread tried to read from or write to a virtual...
Since I bought Sonar Pro information technology keeps crashing on diverse occasions. I only accept a handful 3rdparty plugins installed that didn't come up with sonar. I first noticed after installing Melodyne, could be the cause or merely coincidence?
The crashdumps all say "The thread tried to read from or write to a virtual accost for which it does not have the appropriate access"
One of few crash reports: [Link keeps disappearing, not sure what to do]
What I tried:
- Set the programme to run as Ambassador cause I plant this hint in the forums here
- Removed all 32bit plugins
- Changed my sound carte from Realtek Hard disk drive onboard sound with Asio4All to 1000-Sound Delta 44 with most recent drivers
- Removed Asio4All
- Tried to rule out single plugins only couldn't, I remove 1, information technology seems stable over again, later a while the next crash...
My organisation:
- Windows 7 SP1 64bit
- Core i7 2700k, 16GB Ram, GTX 1080, SSD, Firecuda HDD, M-Audio Delta 44. Organisation is perfectly cooled (this is my gaming rig), CPU never runs above lx°C. I can due east.thou. play a game on this machine for 12h straight total load without whatever stability bug
- ALL drivers up to engagement
Please aid!! This is no fun at all :(

Well after digging for a solution by my self I disabled "Rapture Sessions" and about 95% of the crashes went away. So this thing is clearly broken.
I nonetheless get some crashes occasionally, really hard ones where Sonar would close without whatsoever notice. It seems "Undo" is no skilful to utilize, also I have to operate Sonar rather careful - permit me explain: E.m. I have a vocal playing and open a Synth, while the Synth window opens I press stop -> Crash. If I practice information technology with some time in betwixt those ii actions, no crash.
Guys I really like Sonar, I withal call back it's a pretty good deal. But those crashes need to go away. Please assist.

Well I'm on Windows 7, not 10.
Yesterday I had two crashes in a row once more (Nr. 65736 & 65737). Playback was off. All I did was trying to delete a Midi track. No musical instrument on the runway, but some bare midi clips.

Bump.
More crashes, this time working a bit with an audio loop. Click unfreeze -> crash, stretch the loop -> crash, UNDO something with audiosnap -> no crash just the sound is strangely crippled, need to start over.

Just a quick note: I've been continuing to work with audiosnap for some other 2h, freezing, unfreezing, no more crashes.
This is a mutual thread with these crashes and malfunctions, they occur completely random. Often I practise one thing followed by a crash. Reopen Sonar, do the same thing, same project, same crash. Reopen Sonar again, exercise the same thing, no more than crash.

RAM test ran for about an hour - no errors, no instabilities.
Yeah this is not a "depression-level" test and doesn't test parts of RAM used by the Os, I know. Still, this organization has no issues whatsoever, other than with Sonar and a handful of games that are known to have their own issues.

Some threads mention a clean re-install would help. How is it done? Simply uninstall and reinstall from the Command Center? Anything else I need to take intendance of manually?

Problem seems to be solved. I forgot that I recovered Windows 7 from a backup couple month ago. Afterwards that event Windows Update had a problems and didn't practice automated updates any more. And so my Windows was quite outdated.
After fixing Windows Update and installing all missed updates those crashes didn't occur whatever more than (yet).
Huge thank you to the anonymous user who contacted me via PM and pointed me towards the problem. Tin can exist closed.
